Metz. Silent march in tribute to Aboubakar Cissé: "Everyone can shout, but keep quiet..."

Three weeks after the assassination of Aboubakar Cissé, a 22-year-old Malian, in a mosque in the Gard region, a silent march took place this Saturday, May 17, in Metz, at the initiative of a group close to the Great Mosque of Metz, which denounces a "dangerous rise in Islamophobia."
"There's nothing better than a silent march to express our sadness and anger. Everyone can shout. But to be silent..." Calm and composed, Ayhan Avci is one of the members of the collective behind this demonstration organized in memory of Aboubakar Cissé, murdered on April 25 with 57 stab wounds in the Khadidja mosque in La Grand-Combe (Gard).
